Built in the country with a modern inner city design. Huge open plan living spaces adjoined by sheltered semi outdoor areas. Features includes a mixture of hardies claddings and polished concrete floors, Separate garage areas and a covered entranceway. Extremely well finished while keeping a tight budget in mind.

A custom designed 3 bedroom house in Springvale, features include an open plan living/conservatory area adjoining a covered deck, open plan study, separate guest rooms and a huge kitchen. Well designed for the tight section with outstanding finishing touches.

Town Houses, Church Place

Two central city townhouses constructed on the site of two side-by-side 1930’s weatherboard villas. Built for the owner of the front house, with the rear house sold during construction. An interesting aspect was the involvement of archaeologists during the site dig out as the site had historical “value”.

Townhouses, Bell St

This project involved the removal of a tired old weatherboard villa to make way for two brick and tile townhouses with three bedroom and ensuites. Built for a client from Auckland as investment properties with a budget in mind. A great example of infill housing which is a growing trend in the inner city.

Smith house, Roberts Ave

Extensive views down the Wanganui river are a focus for this three bedroom plus office home high on Roberts Ave Hill. This design is a mixture of brick and linea weatherboards and stone effect columns frame the entranceway. A great family house well suited for its small lifestyle block.

Nixon House, Lake wiritoa

Built to a very high spec for a retired couple overlooking farmland at Lake Wiritoa. Features include an outstanding kitchen and separate scullery with smart use of natural lighting systems, schist cladding to the fireplace and entry and an enclosed conservatory with exposed rafters and grooved ceiling linings.

This large 2 storey kitset home was built for a client keen to add to the construction process. Closed in by the builders and finished by the owners, some good old fashioned kiwi do-it-yourself was used with this home.
